Ryanair Opens New Lines from Bratislava to Italy and Spain

Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair is opening new lines from Bratislava's M.R. Stefanik Airport. This time it is southern European destinations that were picked, with the first flight to Malaga, Spain dispatched on Wednesday, while the first take-off for Alghero, Italy is scheduled for Thursday.

Rainbow Pride Parade in Bratislava Disrupted by Aggressive Protesters from Radical Groups

Around a hundred of protesters against the parade Rainbow Pride gathered in Hviezdoslavovo Square on Saturday, including dozens of supporters of the People's Party - Our Slovakia, a political party led by former leaders of extremist movement Slovenska Pospolitost.

Rainbow PRIDE Bratislava 2010 will take place on May 22nd

Rainbow PRIDE Bratislava 2010 will take place in Slovak capital Bratislava on May 22nd. It will be first Slovak march for human rights of non-heterosexual people, their social and political equalization and first celebration of gay and lesbian pride in Slovakia.
PRIDE is the opposite of the word "shame" which lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender people still experience just because of their "non-majority" sexual orientation and gender identity.
